There are no unpublished books of the Bible.

There are Jewish, Christian, and even heretical writings that have never been considered inspired Scripture, and therefore never part of the Bible.

With love in Christ.

They aren't really unpublished books of the Bible because they were never included in the first place. However, there are testaments that exist, such as the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of Philip that do tell different stories about Jesus.

Well, according to the people that find them they do. What you have to keep in mind is that the coucil of Nicea, in 325 a.d., along with deciding that Jesus was of the same substance of God, set the standard of modern religion. Whatever didn't fit into their decision about Jesus was left out and deemed heretical. Yet I think it all depends on exactly what standard you judge an ancient text and what elements are crucial for a text to be considered a book of the Bible.

Yes they are called the Apocrypha, and were excluded because they altered the monotheistic nature of the other books of the bible. Though it is often claimed that they are of unknown authorship, this does not explain why half of the book of ester (written by moses) was removed as well as several psalms. You can find the Apocrypha at most libraries or on limewire.

They do exist, however, these books were written 300 years after Jesus died and are not very acurate at all. That is why they are excluded out of the bible because they do not belong there.
