It was the first fully intact tomb which had been found undisturbed. Archeologists had never seen the amount or kinds of treasures which were buried with Tutankhamun--they had always been looted, usually in antiquity. They think the reason Tut's tomb hadn't been looted was because a second tomb had been built above it, and the rubble from digging it had been dropped on to Tut's tomb, so it was hidden.

Regarding the untouchness of tomb i am not sure .The Study of Ancient egypt was started after invasion of Nepolean it give birth to Egyptology .Previous efforts made by Archeaeologists were little destructive and there was looting, collecting and less study . I think it was first expedition in which systematically planned and implemented and each and every artifact was recorded and recovered carefully . The results are we can see the entire tomb as it was leaved after the last rites of Tut . If you had seen new series on the murder mystery of Tut then you can realise how useful these artifacts were .

Because it was the first very rich tomb that hadn't been completely robbed. It gave a lot of insight to the burial practices of Egyptian royalty especially in that time period.

Yes, just as many of the above said, many amazing artifacts were discovered (i.e. gold, pottery, etc). However, many of the materials were in amazing condition, such as a wooden wagon. Organic materials tend to decompose rather quickly in normal circumstances, but due to the dry and moisture-less environment of the tomb, many organic materials were able to survive.

they are in a position to get many pupils to trust them. i'm obdurate sufficient and clever sufficient to be responsive to that it ought to no longer be any keeps to be of the physique of Jesus. He did no longer have babies with the aid of Mary Magdeline, and he ascended into heaven, in basic terms the way the Bible comments. So i'm no longer apprehensive approximately it. i'm going to reveal screen the documentary, understanding that this is been finished in the previous with the aid of the BBC years in the past, and refuted then, as this is going to likely be refuted now.
