Why don't we cancel out all the "debts" for everyone except those who lived through the hardships? At the very youngest, a victim of the holocaust is 61 years old. Slavery was done away with in 1865. Unless we have new victims pop up, let's assume that everyone has a clean slate. I had an ancestor who was an indentured servant in the 18th century, but I don't think it made ME a victim.
