My daddy is French, and I just wanted to see if it was true that everyone did actually hate The French.. Just a random question.

the French in France are fine. In other countries, they are a pain.

I am not well aquainted with the French people since I don't know many...and I've never been to France yet..but I'm guessing they're pretty normal like the rest of us. I think it's stupid to hate French people...the only stereotype I'm aware is that people say that French people are "rude"...I don't think so though...

I am an American and I don't have anything against the French. I very much like the French and was actually hoping they won the world cup.

I've never particularly cared for the French. They have never struck me as all that friendly. They certainly weren't when I was in France. I haven't had a lot of contact with French people, but they seem to have an air of superiority. I've never felt a good attitude from them. I wouldn't say I hate them, though. Just in general, I wouldn't expect much in the form of friendliness from them, though they probably don't expect a lot of friendliness from me, either.

Who told you that people hate the French? (In America maybe, but they hate everyone over there) I have been to France 3 times and it was wonderful each time. French people are very polite, welcoming, educated and sophisticated, my kinda folk!

I had a friend in Grad School that was from France.
Don't hate any nation, just some individuals here and there that earned the distain the old fashioned way.

I love everything French.
The language is the most romantic. beautiful fashion sense, the food is to die for and the countryside is spectacular!!
And I love the home decor, pastel sun-bleached colors and toile.
