I really do love my job of 5 years, and look forward to going there each time. It is a small office with people I treasure as good friends. From other job experiences, for me anyway, I do my best when I feel a genuine connection to the people with whom I work. And the fact that we have an incomparable product makes it even better.

I don't...I just started in June and already annoyed. The communication around here is lacking in a big way, which makes my job very difficult already. I may just be in an ill mood, but I really thought I'd like this job. I definitely do it for money, but I want to start my own business, already have one in mind, and I think I will be happy then. I am an office manager right now. I mean, I thought it was an upgrade from an admin asst, my previous jobs that created my experience to become an office manager, but I was wrong. I am sick of answering the phones!!!!!

What you have to ask yourself is 'would you do it for nothing'? Most people would say no, I think. A job is a job because you would do it for money only. I think there are a few jobs out there that are rewarding but through my experience with sucky jobs, most are tolerable at best.

I have two. Love one - Professional Bellydancer, tolerate the other - Program Admin for IT company. If I could make enough money just as a bellydancer I would quit my day job in a heartbeat. Maybe someday.........

I really did like my job. I looked forward to going to work every single day and sometimes had to be told to go to lunch or to go home. It's not that I didn't like home because I do but I just felt invigorated going to work. I think I was obsessed with work but then I had an almost nervous breakdown because I dreamt about work every night and went to work every single day. I loved it!

You know what I was wondering the same thing. I think there are people that like their jobs. Unfortunately I am not one of them. It is so hard to get the job you want. Good Luck...

I love my job. I've been an E911 dispatcher for almost 7 years now...I have no plan to leave dispatch anytime soon, but if I do, I'll be staying in law enforcement.
