beer, football and steak. Then leave the house until the game is over so you wont distract him.

I have done this before and gooten great results :)
Go to your local florist and ask them if they have a bag of rose petals that you can buy.. most have them for about 10.00 then you can sprinkle a path from the door to the kitchen or the bedroom or wherever you desire. If they don't have a bag of petals, buy a dozen roses that are past their prime.. they work to and then you can just pull the petals off...
Also, you can create his *favorite* dinner by ordering it from his favorite restaurant to go.. then plate it at home and get rid of the take out boxes :)
You can also fill the bathtub half way full and float some tea lights in it..take them out of the metal cup they come in and sprinkle some rose petals on top of the water..
You can light the dining area with candles...
Most men go gaga over the *idea* that you went to the trouble..
As far as something you can do.. if he is travelling... put together a miss you, mean it pack... include his favorite magazine, a cd, some batteries for the ipod, and a love note.. then, put a single rose on top in his suitcase..
He will love it...
Mine did :)
Hugs and good luck!

Unfortunately, us men aren't very romantic to begin with. Most guys don't get excited about receiving flowers or a card. I can tell you what my wife does to make me feel special. Sometimes she'll make a meal specifically for me of my favorite dish and wine. If I'm really a good boy, she may even give me a full body massage. Mmmm. I'm getting relaxed just thinking about it. And then you know what normally happens after that. Use your imagination. Anyways, you might wanna try those things on him. Then while he's away, he'll be thinking about it and looking forward to coming back home.

It doesn't work that way.You can give him a nice gift or take him out to eat, but from a man's perspective, all that candlelight dinner cr*p is a lot of work. Men's sexuality is very direct.
You can be direct, and perhaps dress in something that turns him on. Act out his fantasy. But don't waste a lot of time before you "get to it" though.
Alternatively, if you're thinking about something non-sexual, you can be cute and make him some cookies in a "care package" to take with him, or hand him a homemade card with a picture of you and your children, if any, in it. Things like this really keep a man going and remind him of his motivation.

Men are not romantic. all the advice i've seen here so far is romantic to a woman.
What men want is a slvt in their bed. Give him a coupon that makes him the master of his sex slave.
He'll love it but be ready for some kinky stuff. ok ??

have the kind of passionate sex that you had when you first got together.. when that was ALL you did til the sun came up.
get down and dirty like you did when you first couldnt keep your hands & mouths off each other, the kind of sex you have in the back of the car because its too long to wait til you drive the 2 blocks to get home. the kind when you cant get enough of each other at any time of the day or night.
or there's always the candles & dinner if that's not your thang.

what is romantic for women is also romantic for men ... making him his favorite dish ..on the lights of candles .. and some wine .
while you dress in a very sexy way .. it doesn't matter how you look... women usually make a mistake thinking their not sexy enough to dress that or to have a mutual bath or something .. men don't care .. their not looking for models (especially when they're not Brad Pitt themselves ;)) .. feel comfortable and sure about yourself .. that's what they find it most sexy ..
you can put music that he likes .. you can dance .. express your love.. making him share his thoughts , fears , fantasies etc..
tell him how much you love him.. how much you're attracted to him .. and how much he's special to you . (men like to know they're special )..
make a list of what you love about him ( he takes care of you, he makes you feel safe , the way he looks at you etc.. ) and make sure you tell him that ...
bring him a small symbolic present to make him remember you and your love while he's away ..
Kiss him passionately , like you used to when you were dating ...
that's what i would do .. if i was married :)

Not knowing your fella, I have to go by what works for mine. Put a perfumed love note in his bag. Put some lipstick on and kiss the note. Pack one of your pairs of underwear with a note that you expect to be wearing them again when he returns.

trim your pubes, give him a bunch as a momento. also a nice bj would be a good leaving present. he will be visiting enough lap dancing bars and brothels in the days he is away, so he won't need sex from you!
