theres two different ways for water to break...1st is when theres a big gush...like a waterballoon poped then theres a small leak where it looks like you just leaked pee on yourself... you probally need to go to the doctor and have them check b/c it sounds like your water broke...and with multiples your more likely to go into labor early

That sounds like your water broke. Sometimes it is a gush, and sometimes it is a slow trickle at first. If you already called your doctor, then there isn't much more to do now except start timing your contractions when they begin. You may want to go in before your appointment if they get to be about 5 minutes apart. While you are still at home and feeling okay, you should eat something. Once you get to the hospital, the nurses usually won't let you eat until the baby is born, which can take many hours.

If you don't start any contractions, it could be that your water didn't break after all. When you go for your appointment this afternoon they will test and should be able to tell if it broke or not.

About your size . . . your doctor should be able to tell you if you are a "normal" size for 8 months or not.

Your size really doesn't matter as long as the baby is healthy. I looked like I was having twins w/my second child just because of my height, and weight of the baby. As far as your water breaking.. you feel like you've wet yourself. It's an uncontrolled feeling - not like your using the restroom, you just feel a "gush" and then your soaked. My water barely broke with my first child and I hardly knew it had ruptured - it was what they call a slow tear (leak) - so until I started having contractions, I didn't know it had broken. My second child however felt like someone poured a glass of water down my pants. Each experience is different - just talk to your doctor and when they check your dialation towards the end they can give you more reassurance.

If you felt a warm gush of water it could be that your water broke...go to the hospital ASAP and get checked.

Women vary in size when pregnant. You may have a big baby.

When you got up to g the the bathroom your water could have broke. But also you could have urinated by accident from all the pressure of the baby on your bladder.
Embarrassing yes, I had the same thing happen to me when i was pregnant with my first. I was sitting down got up and i was soaked the ppl house i was at said umm you need to call the midwife so i did and turned out i went to the bathroom with out knowing... Which is normal.

relax...i am also 8 mo. however, this is my 4th. i look like im having twins, but there is only one, it depends on how the baby is laying. second, when your water breaks, is similar to peeing your pants, put you will know the difference if it happens.most womens water doesnt break until they get to the hospital, with my last one, my water broke at some point, but i couldnt tell you when, the one before that, hers broke the second i got an epiddural. every woman and child are different...

good luck

the size of your bump depends on how the baby is laying and how much he/she weighs. When your water breaks it can either be a constant trickle or a gush of sticky fluid

from what i have been told some women dont even know there water has broken, some women experience a slow and steady little leakage when there water breaks and some women have the giant gush where they feel like they peed there pants, without peeing..
