its a solid length for doing all your artwork on, buts its no longer a solid length if your going to apply it on your regular use. a solid length tensepersistent would be 60 gigabytes. if your going to apply a 20 gigabyte tensepersistent, then i'd advise identifying to purchase a exterior hardrive it particularly is transportable and sufficiently small to in high quality condition on your computing device bag like the Western digital My Passport mandatory tensepersistent. its the dimensions of a nintendo Ds and has extremely a style memory from one hundred twenty gig to 500 gig. click and paste right here link to work out the transportable tensepersistent

As much as you can! I made the mistake of not upgrading squat on my laptop and later found out that laptops can't be upgraded... so I ended up buying a desktop to replace the laptop... mostly because the newer games out there want better and better computer specs to run effectively. So if you're getting a laptop, get the best thing you can get so it lasts the longest - even though it will be expensive as anything!

It all depends on what you are talking about and and how you intend to use you laptop.

If you are talking about gigs of memory (RAM) then get as much as you can afford 1BG minimum, 2BG if you can afford it, 4GB if your laptop supports it.

If you are talking about hard drive space, then it all depends on what you want to use the laptop for. Video takes up a ton of space, so if you plan on using any sort of video (like a miniDV camcorder) then get as much as you can afford. 100+GB if you plan on doing a lot.

For basic use - web surfing, music*, pictures, etc then usually the standard hard drive will do just fine. Most are 60-80GB these days.

* You should be fine with music unless you have 10s of thousands of songs.

Which-ever laptop u fell in love with. Get portable hard-drive if u need back-up and additional space. Don't store too much on ur laptop and rely on it. If the laptop one day fails on u or needs to be sent to repair, u will regret not having an additional storage somewhere.

well, gaming isn't the too great on a laptop, but get atleast 40 gigs
for all ur games
pictures
music
and other programs like AIM/AOL/ICQ
stuff like that
40 gigs should leave u feeling comfortable about space
yet not crying about how ur wallet is empty

It really depends on what you use it for. If you are working with video or storing lots of music, you need a large drive. If you are playing a few games, working some spreadsheets and surfing the internet, you don't need much at all. 40G is plenty unless you want your entire music collection on your hard drive.
