In the category of weird questions..if there is such a thing here. My girl friend is bleeding from her usual area..(sorry ladies if that sounds a little chauvinistic..) but it's not her time of the month, yet I get a call at work saying she's bleeding. I suppose it's not heavy since she wasn't to worried and was able to talk calmly to me on the phone. I told her to go to the Doc's. Advice..? What the hell could going on? Pls..be serious..

My first thought would be a possible miscarriage.

Don't be scared though go to the Doctor's. It could be she's hemorrhage for some reasons. Could be stress, could be something else physically wrong.

You should never keep this too long going. Though it may just pass, anything recurring like this should be looked into. Might be well worth it down the road.

If you have being having unprotected sex.... it could be:

a) implantation bleeding (meaning she has fallen pregnant) It's when the embryo 'implants' itself onto the lining of the uterous (womb).

b) she was pregnant and has had a miscarriage. A miscarriage, especially in early days doesn't have much bleeding. A miscarriage when you're further into pregnancy would induce more bleeding (and possibly more pain).

OOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRR

It could just be her hormones playing up. Mine were crazy until 2 weeks ago. I had 3 periods in 1 month. I went to the docs and had a tonne of tests - all came back negative. She should do this if she's worried. Better to be safe than sorry mate. Encourage her to do this too because her health's very important, esp. if she's fallen pregnant. Goodluck! ;o)

Well when I was younger and on birth control pills I would have what a doctor will call 'breakthrough bleeding' when skipping a pill or two. Also if she is on the birth control shot bleeding will happen until her body is used to it. But to be on the safe side, she should go and see her doctor.

If she is on a new type of birth control she may have abnormal bleeding. The Depo shot did that to me. Otherwise it could be just a period. But if you are both concerned then definately seek medical attention.

An occasional irregular period is normal at any age. It is most common among teens and during perimenopause. If it is a one time issue there is no need for concern. If it recurrs she would do well to discuss it further with her GYN

Her period could be early its not uncommon during stressful times to have a two week gap in between a period as opposed to three weeks...just in case have her call her dr for further instructions. If t gets heavier she needs to go to ER.

Sometimes periods come early.. as long as she goes to the doc and has it checked out, there's nothing to worry about.

She needs to get a gyn exam. She ought to have cervical polyps, which bleed very actual. that is major that she bypass rapidly, as cervical polyps ought to correctly be a precurser to cervical maximum cancers. it really is not any longer continually as scary because it sounds, yet she ought to get appeared at rapidly.

is she on the birth control pill? if she misses a pill, it could be spotting as a result of it.

there are too many things it could be and it's best to just go to a doctor if it doesn't stop.
