If you've been out of work for 15 years, that's not baby leave, that's a stay-at-home mom. That was your job. If you love other people's kids as much as your own, then you could start a day care center, or just start out working at one. They don't pay much, but it will get you a start on something bigger. Also, go to your local arts theatre and ask about any openings they may have. Since you've been out for so long, you may have to start small and build a reputation, but it'll be worth it when you find out exactly what you're great at and you love.

Do you have the background for that type of work? If so, then start scouring the local paper and websites that support atrists of that craft for job postings. If not, get a certificate of degree in theatrical makeup and put yourself out there.

Good luck!
