You are such a romantic and I wish that more men could think like you. I thought that sending flowers with a note attached would really be neat. Flowers have meanings and you can say it with flowers. You could get her a bouquet with a note attached to the flower or send her a different flower weekly or monthly. I have just a few flower meanings so that you can see what I am talking about.
Arbutus- Thee only do I love
Aster- symbol of love
Azalea-take care of yourself for me
Camellia-pink- longing for you
Red-Your a flame in my heart
white- your adorable
Carnation-pink-I'll never forget you
red-My heart aches for you
striped-Wish I could be with you
Gardenia-Your my lovely secret love.
Flowers have a language of their own and you can let them speak for you. A florist would be glad to work with you. good luck

Be careful buying any type of lily ... a lot of people are allergic to the pollen on them. Also, quite a few people have an intolerance to the pyrethrum naturally contained in daisies.

Tulips are a safe bet, as far as allergies go, but they seem to die quickly.

I'd buy her a plant - she can keep it in her room and it will last for as long as she takes good care of it, unlike cut flowers which will be dead within a week.

Truly, woman like ANY flowers - they don't have to be expensive, or a big bouquet. I like getting a mixed bouquet of a variety of colours and flowers - a few lilies, tulips, carnations, baby's breath, greenery - a florist can help you choose. Also, don't forget plants - some are really cool, like azaleas or cyclamen.
