Here are some of the things we've sent my brother or things he's repeatedly asked for

Maxim and/or other guy magazines. (we later found out that he was able to exchange these for alcohol)

A notebook or stationery and some pens

Energy drinks, sports drink mixes

SOCKS and plenty of them

And my mom insisted on sending him a bucket and shovel so he could make sand castles ;)

It can sometimes take a month or two before packages arrive. Just keep that in mind when choosing what you're sending.

Also, this usps site may be helpful http://www.usps.com/supportingourtroops/ They even have a program where they will send you free packaging supplies

Being in Iraq myself I'll tell you exactly what your brother wants. YOU. Let him know that everything at the home front is O.K.. Let him know sis' is fine. Home made cookies, pictures, hometown news papers. All that is beautiful but as long as he knows everything at home is great he will feel 10 feet tall. You just keep writing and E-Mailing him. He'll tell his buddys and they will get a chill too. You can bring comfort to 10 soldiers by writing one.
YOU GO GIRL!!
