After sitting for a while if I push mshoulders back and arch my chest I get a large back crack. Then I'm able to sit up straighter. Is this bad for the bad/posture?

I do the same thing. I have learned to crack my own lower back and neck also. I feel much better after I do it.

Im not sure if this is bad for you. Many people say it is though. I crack my back ALOT. It realives tension most of the time but other times it just makes it hurt worse and worse. Latley Ive been having major back problems but IDK if its becuz of the constant back cracking. I probably crack my back more than most people. In the morning when I wake up I crack my toes, ankles, wrist, fingers, neck and back. Through out the day im constently cracking my bones but mostly my back and fingers. If this is a problem soem 1 please tell me. Many people need to kno if this is going to hurt them in thelong run. Thank you

It is bad for your back...cracking the joints could lead to arthritis of the spine in the best case scenario and to a spinal injury in the worst case scenario...manipulation of the spine is best left to a chiropractor or neurosurgeon.
