I've witnessed a few weddings. I most cases they both choose dresses. In many cases one of them wears something more masculine, like a Tux tailored for her, and I've even seen where they both wore tuxes. It's pretty individual.

I think sometimes straight people (okay, even some gay people) get hung up on the idea that even though both people are women, in the relationship one must be husband and one must be wife. This just isn't always (or even usually) true. And even if it is true for a given couple, I'm not sure they would want to telegraph this much information to their parents and guests by their choice of wardrobe.
, some might. But most of the time, no.

It depends on the women. Some both wear wedding dresses. Some 1 wears a dress & 1 wears a suit, some both wear suits.

Depends on the couple, they can both wear whatever they want. I know straight women who have gotten married and its not been in a dress.

I think one, the feminine one whould wear a white dress and the masculine one should wear a black dress with a white V , fake cumberbun and a black bow tie that sorta of looks like a Tux.

I know of two lesbians who got married. The more feminine one wore a dress, and the more masculine one wore a tux.

On the day of our commitment ceremony I will wear a casual dress, and she has decided to wear jeans and a tuxedo coat w/tails. I suppose it is up to the individuals.
