I'm a lefty too, my Grandmother apparently tried every way possible to make me use my right hand when I was little but it didn't work, my left hand won overall although it was a bit confusing at school when a lot of things were taught with using right hands such as learning guitar and violin and stuff but apparently us lefties are more in tune with emotions and are more artistic and passionate.

It's easier to teach right handedness, but it really screwed me up. I write either hand, but the signatures look different, and I do everything else left handed. That parts not so bad, but I have no sense of direction, I can't read a map, and I get lost downtown where I've lived for the past 15 years. My daughter is left handed, and when she was a child, I went to the school, and as soon as I said "My daughter is left handed.........", The school secretary interrupted me and said "We don't do that anymore." She knew what I was about to throw a fit over.

I was recently told by my mom that I kept using my left hand to right when I was younger, and she kept putting the pen in my right hand. I feel that since I was supposed to use my left hand , my brain is all screwed up.lol but seriously, she says she didnt know any different. People dont feel the need to, they are born left handed or right.
