They basically insult, post a stupid comment, and then don't even give you a chance for rebuttal or an explanation but not allowing email contact.

Oh yeah. Huh. I know I am but what are you? You and whose army? What turnip truck did you fall off of? You must be Canadian or something. Well la tee da. Where do you get off? Make my day. Did you just wake up? I am so sure. Who made you queen for a day? Actually, I kind of like snide remarks. Better than no remarks at all. You can always post a witty but snide remark my way. It is something you wily Canucks are good at. Where did the term Canuck come from anyway, from some Canucknuclehead? I have only been to Vancouver BC and Victoria, but what I have seen of Canada has impressed me. I love Victoria. We always reserve the third floor of the Empress Hotel where dear old Winston stayed(kidding of course) High tea in the afternoon is all I can afford. Care for a crumpet? Where about in Canada do you live, or is that too snide of a question? And, what was the question I took so long to answer? Must not have been too important, miss know it all. Put that in your maple wood pipe and stuff it. I love being snide. It becomes me.

I think it's because a lot of people posting comments are children. Really YOUNG kids. For example, one ask a question about helpful advice for going into the 5th grade. Come on now. Do you think that they are honestly gonna have a decent answer for anything? Just ignore the stupid ones and indulge in the intelligent ones. Have a good day!

More than likely the people who do that, do it in an effort to make themselves seem smarter or more outgoing than they naturally are. A lot of people that answer here are simply smart allecks, like to be sarcastic and or use it for their own twisted sense of enjoyment. If they do not allow email contact then they are also cowardly and do not want to face the possible outcomes from their idiotic answers.
