When my fiance and I lived in Virginia Beach, I used to sing karaoke every weekend at this bar called Steppin' Out. But we moved and there are NO places in our new town that do karaoke. He even got me a karaoke system for Christmas that's a CD+G/CD/DVD player all in one, and shows the words on the TV screen, but it's just not the same as goin out and singing. The first song I ever sang for karaoke was "Thank You" by Dido, because I was having a crappy day at work and then he called me and lifted my spirits up. When I finally got over the stage fright, I sang a bunch of stuff, mostly country music. Nora Jones, Anna Nalick, Julie Roberts, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, etc...

My grandfather has a karaoke business. They sing mostly country songs.

I love some karaoke!!! Especially when I'm drunk. Me and my sisters favorite song to sing and get down to is Baby Got Back!!! Sht is so funny and we make the bar go crazy for more LMAO!!!! Try it, you will see, it does wonders!!!!
