The email claiming that mars will appears as large as the moon is a hoax. Even at its closest (which happens once a year as the earth and Mars pass each other in orbit) Mars is no larger then an average "star". That email has been circulating around for several years now and they just keep changing the date. Hoax!!

that was for august 2005 last yr, when mars came closest to earth, it will not happen this yr.
