There isn't really much you can do. If the father of the child is not putting him in any kind of danger or harming him she can't really do anything about that situation. The only thing she can do is explain to the police what happened. About the car it all depends on who's name the car is in. I know this is hard for her but just try to be there for her and assure her that everything is going to be OK. Tell her to call the police and talk to them. Good luck and she is in my thoughts and prayers.

Well, just off the top of my head, if its her car, and his name is not on it, wouldn't that be theft? And could she file a missing persons report for her son? My God, she must be going crazy!! Can she report all the credit cards stolen, that way he won't have access to them... and maybe freeze the bank account. He won't get too far with no money... Good luck to her

She should file a police report immediately. You can help by being there for her and giving emotional support

not much you can do except support her and be there for her. she has to go and take out a custody order and report the husband to police, for kidnapping her son .and stealing her car.you can only advise her .she may not want to report him to police and that's her decision too
