What is the little red (or green) eraser thing in the middle called? And what about the pad, the one you use your finger on the pad to move the pointer around? Just wondering what the proper terms are for these.

Not sure about the little red/green eraser thing, but, the other is called a touchpad. Or, whatever your computer maker wants to call it, buuuut, mostly, a touchpad..
