Is it bad for the health?

There are pros and cons on this subject. It used to be doctors prescribed pot to relieve the pain from certain types of cancers. This was before todays early detection procedures, like colonoscopy, when 70% (estimate) of all people diagnosed with cancer died.

There has also been evidence to support that there is no health related problems from ingesting pot, only smoking it.

Is it addictive?
Again, there are pros and cons. There is evidence to support that pot is not pyhsically addictive, however the emotional and phschological addiction is there.

I think that it is a very bad habit to SMOKE GRASS, as there are several inherent dangers associated with it.

One can become psychotic and develop a huge number of mental disorders, which doesn't make one a happier person.

When one smokes, stuff happens in your mental state. Your perception of the world changes and you are open to anyone else.

When you "sober" up, you cannot identify the miserable feeling you have as not being yours and you decide that it must be you that suffers so much (although you don't have a clue why). You can recover from it, but if you smoke too much in company, you get in a permanent state of misery, which can cause psychoses (many of the people needing mental help is smoking).

Yes, any kind of smoke going in your lungs is bad for you, whether it's cigarettes, grass, or any other material. As for the addictiveness, it's a debateable. But if you have friends who do it, then you probably suspect that it is, because most people that do it do it regularly. It also demolishes your brain-cells, which is pretty bad as well

Quick! Come to Canada and find out before they change the laws again.

I am not sure of the effect on the lungs but society is missing out on a valid medicine. Even here it is hard for people who are suffering from pain to get medical marijuana.

It is not addictive. My experience from the 60's is that everyone who stuck with grass is okay healthwise but those that got hooked on the idea of getting high, moved on to other drugs. Those people are mostly dead now. Speed (crystal meth) kills.

Findings so far show that regular use of marijuana or THC may play a role in some kinds of cancer and in problems with the respiratory and immune systems.

Cancer
It’s hard to know for sure whether regular marijuana use causes cancer. But it is known that marijuana contains some of the same, and sometimes even more, of the cancer-causing chemicals found in tobacco smoke. Studies show that someone who smokes five joints per day may be taking in as many cancer-causing chemicals as someone who smokes a full pack of cigarettes every day (15) .

Lungs and airways
People who smoke marijuana often develop the same kinds of breathing problems that cigarette smokers have: coughing and wheezing. They tend to have more chest colds than nonusers. They are also at greater risk of getting lung infections like pneumonia.

Immune system
Animal studies have found that THC can damage the cells and tissues in the body that help protect against disease. When the immune cells are weakened you are more likely to get sick

Can people become addicted to marijuana?
A: Yes. Long-term marijuana use can lead to addiction in some people. That is, they cannot control their urges to seek out and use marijuana, even though it negatively affects their family relationships, school performance, and recreational activities (9). According to one study, marijuana use by teenagers who have prior antisocial problems can quickly lead to addiction (3). In addition, some frequent, heavy marijuana users develop “tolerance” to its effects. This means they need larger and larger amounts of marijuana to get the same desired effects as they used to get from smaller amounts.

I think it would taste bad, who knows what kind of grass it is. I doubt it'll be addictive. Some grasses aren't meant for smoking. I wonder how smoking flowers would be like.
