Two years ago a UN decision was made to disarm Hezbollah, no one has carried this out. In fact just the opposite has been allowed to happen, Lebanon is fully aware that Hezbollah has been acquiring weapons from Syria and Iran, so by allowing this it has supported Hezbollah a terrorist organization.
Hezbollah went across the border into Israel and kidnapped two Israeli soldiers and shot dead 8 others. These soldiers are still missing.
Israel has gone in pursuit of her citizens and also Israel has been bombed continually for the last 6 years by Hezbollah and her citizens have lived in terror whilst her government has tried hard to not retaliate and live in peace. However terrorists do not want to live in peace and only want war. It is their intention to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. This organization is funded by Syria and Iran.
As the Lebanese have supported these terrorists they are now paying the price for this.
Israel wants peace, Muslims only want war.
to answer your question Israel is the good guys and Muslim Lebanon is the bad guys.

Look at the deaths of civilians. That should answer the question.
Why kill innocent people in the North of Lebanon when Hizbullah is in the South.
Ask Israel, what is their agenda?
To wipe out all citizens of Lebanon or what?
By the way UN reslotion 1559 states the diasarmement of Hizbullah and the pull out of Syria. Syria has pulled out of Lebanon but have no control of Hizbullah as Hizbullah is a political party of Lebanon.
Israel has not complied with over 60 UN resolutions.
How ironic to call for UN reso 1559.

Both are Gray. Obviously, Lebenon should have better control over it's country, but the Hezbollah Militia would probably win in an all out war with the Leboneze army.
Isreal, on the other hand, seems to be missing the idea of proportional response. They have already killed hundreds, many inoccent people, to try and save 2 soldiers who were kidnapped. I can understand where they are coming from, that they want to make terrorism against Isreal Unthinkable, but I they might have gone a little overboard.

Israel is not fighting Lebanon. Israel is fighting Hezbollah.
Israel and Lebanon are good. Hezbollah is bad.

I along with many others (including Israelis) who are demonstrating against the Israeli aggression do not agree with the Israeli actions.

To get a full understanding, we have to go back a long time ago when the Israelis were expelled from 109 locations and the British mandate and Balfour declaration gave Israel a part of the Palestine land that was occupied by the British forces then.

The Israeli Zionists had their own agenda to attain their "promised land" - the land between the Al Forat & the Nile Rivers - and Israel began to invade parts of Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and more parts of Palestine.
In 1967 the UN passed resolution 242 calling for Israel to withdraw form the occupied Arab territories they have invaded & occupied during these wars. Israel has not compied to date.

The whole issue of the current abuse over Lebanon is not the issue Israeli soldiers. Israel provoked Hezbollah by crossing the Lebanese borders (Israel crossed the border and not the other way around) to aggravate matters and have Hezbollah retaliate. Lebanon is only a stepping-stone to reach Syria and Iran after Iraq has been totally destroyed and occupied by the US. (Israel was behind the Afghanistan / Iraqi wars).

For Israel to be able to fulfill its agenda, then it has to ensure that there are no powerful Arab / Muslim armies in the region except the Israeli army, which is backed up & fully equipped with US military weapons. Israel also has its own nuclear power station and nuclear warheads.
Israel throughout history has been conducting false flag operations against the US (in particular) to set up the Arabs and begin wars with their neighboring Arab countries to achieve their cause / agenda.

Lebanon as a whole is not bad, many innocents are now being punished for something they have no control over. It's like the police burning down your house and shooting your kids because a neighbour is a criminal...

Lebanon is innocent, Hezbollah on the other hand is as guilty as Israel (or vice versa, whichever way you prefer to phrase it).

i dk but the war isnt over who is good and who is bad, they both want this one piece of land, called the "Holy Land". The have been fighting over this one piece of land for thousands of years so i guess it isnt something new!
