It's been 4 years since I've opened it and would like anyones story or suggestion.

If you owe this debt, and it looks like they will sue you, then try to negotiate something. A judgement will stay on your report for 7 years, and it looks terrible! Much worse then a collection.

If they haven't served you yet don't panic. Many times they don't sue for small credit card debts unless the collection agency has an office near you.

I have never heard of anyone going to court over a delinquent credit card

you only to go to court over deliquent credit card if they turned it over to a collection agency. you might as well go, its no big deal. you go in front of the judge with the collection agency, the judge asks you a few questions, and it doesnt matter because the collection agency already knows where you work etc, they will put a garnishment on your wages for 25% of your after tax wages, until it is paid.

my lawer's advice was to ignore, they got a judgement against me 4 hyrs ago and have not heard from them since.
