I am 5t 9-10in,I want to touch the basketball ring,i can touch the starting grid of the net,how should i practice and perpare to touch the ring?

Toe raises off a step. Just stand on the step with the front part of your feet. Raise yourself up and the lower yourself slowly as far as you can. This works like the shoes everyone is buying for the improved vertical.
Be sure to stretch at the downward part of the excercise. This will help condition your calf muscles and help with the developement of your fast twitch muscle fibers used in sprinting and jumping.
I used this simple workout and was hanging from the rim in eighth grade at 5' 10". Also might want to keep jumping. Let your body rest evry couple of days so as to not become too exausted from the workout. Three days a week should be enough. Take every other day off for maimum results.

The tune that makes me cry probably the most is a tune known as "My Immortal" via Evanescence. Beautiful , however unhappy written lyrics. A very strong tune that brings me to tears from the first actual line of the tune being sung. Every time. Amy Lee can sing the hell out of that tune.

Just keep jumping so that your legs become stronger. do some exercises that can help I'mprove your explosiveness so that when shift your momentum up you go higher. im 5'6 and i can grab the rim and almost dunk. you can also go to the nearest pool and do some high knee in the shallow end of the pool to improve explosiveness as well

you gotta work out your leg muscles, but be careful you want to get plenty of height on u before you begin working on those legs. The best way to increase your jumping ability is to take some time out and PRACTICE JUMPING. Trust me it works, after a while, you get this extra bounce to your step, and do calf raises, that'll increase the quickness to your lift.

you need to strengthen up you calf muscles. the easiest way to do thiis is to buy some ankle weights. there are also some shoes on the market tohelp increase you vertical jump.
