Couple of reasons

It takes no brain activity to decide which tracksuit to wear when their bulk theft from the clothes rack at Sportsworld meant they got 20 versions of the same tracksuit, albeit different sizes. This also explains the "see my pants" look, as clearly even chavs have to change their tracksuit (fortnightly). If all they have left in the draw is a set 5 sizes too big then their underwear is bound to show.

Tracksuits and trainers are prefered when evading store security and legging it down the street to the waiting Citroen Saxo with their recently stolen stracksuits in their hands (see above). Thus continuing the circle of theft, no brain wear, baggy ****, run away etc etc etc.

Hate the chav look, don't they realise how stupid they look??

I guess because Matalan, Lidl and Netto must have introduced a dress code.

I noticed that they also keep photos of the ones with the best scowling features behind the counters - and also large photocopies of their recent cheques. Isn't that nice?

I'm a bit lardy but I still wear an Umbro top. Possibility of a jog today? Very limited.

As a group, they tend to opt out of formal employment, and are therefore free to wear the most comfortable clothing available.

It wouldn't make much sense to wear a three-piece suit to sit and watch Trisha, would it?
