In sales it stands for

Money
Authority
Need

these are the three things you look for in a prospect when you are giong to sell to them.

They must be the person who conrols the money, they must have the authority to sign/make a decision, and they must be aware of the need for your product. \Without these you wil lnot get the sale.

Another school of thought also offers two more additons to this:

The prospect must also have Trust (in you) and Urgency (without this they will defo not buy) so you need to give them time scales and deadline to create the urgency.

Hope this helps

It depends on what you are selling and who you want to remember it. A mnemonic deigned to help a salesman would be different than one to help the customer remember a product.

First man or woman, traditions of human origins derived from pre-scientific cultures
The Man, slang phrase used to describe higher authority
Man may also refer to:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mnemonic

The dictionary describes mnemonic as a memory aid in its literal sense, however the Wilkpedia above is more comprehensive.
The translation from Greek is the clue and will give you a greater insight if you are able read and understand Latin.
