I have always had windows XP so I don't know what the problem is. I also tried to download that The new Windows LiveTM Messenger Beta & the same answer comes up. I am not sure what I am supposed to do to get either anymore. And how are you supposed to upgrade your windows XP? I am at a loss. I have never had any problems downloading MSN messenger before. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

In Windows XP there are three versions:
- The first XP
- Service Pack 1a: Bug Fixes beyond first XP
- Service Pack 2: Bug Fixes beyond SP1
It can be that u are using either first XP ord XP SP 1, u need to upgrade your XP to SP2, then it will worke fine...
