There seem to be quite a few 'sickos' on today...I'm not being judgemental by saying that - I've been accused of being a 'sicko'. But what about you?

don't judge a person 'til you've taken his medication for a week!

i've been called a weirdo and a weirdo magnet.
people have called me nuts or crazy because i like to have fun with everything i do, being enthused about the task at hand no matter what it is, turns work into play...and what better way to get a job done then have a good time doing it? besides, what is a normal person? are they normal all the time? who's the one who decides what normal is?
as for the sickos...it depends on whether it is just good ol' goofy sickos or the sickos you only want to see in hand-cuff's and belly chains...let's hope that those sickos are decreasing rather than multiplying!

It all depend on people around you, how I see and accept your behaviour might not be how any other person will see it. Being humans we all behave in different ways, there can never be a just perfect resemblance in the way two different people behave, it could be close but not just thesame, that is what makes everyone of us original. So to say, You are a sicko when you admit you are one, even when accused of been one and you never admitted that you cannot be one.We all have the knowledge and wisdom of God in us so until you free your mind you're not gonna operate in this wisdom that will make you never to think you're a sicko.

Sorry - this is meant to be a serious answer, and that's a novelty on here today, isn't it?
I'm one of those "Grumpy Old Men" (don't forget, you get in that class by being over forty!) so I regard myself as being quite sensible, if only due to the experience learned from the university of life. Consequently I've answered a few soppy questions on Q&A this morning with equally soppy answers, and a few sensible ones with sensible answers I hope, but I've just enjoyed myself answering some young idiot who wanted to know the best way to "happy slap" an OAP by supplying an appropriate answer (like I hope the OAP maims him so seriously that he can never do ANYTHING again whilst the OAP gets out after about six months and laughs a lot.(or words to that effect!). BOY, did I enjoy doing it too! Because of that, I feel that my mental state is good, lively and that I'm fairly sensible. Other people will no doubt disagree, and will no doubt make fools of themselves in commenting so. I hope they enjoy themselves in so doing.

I'm not sure if I'm a sicko. I guess someone would have to tell me. I feel like a very secure, in-charge person right now. I'm about to get ready for work.

I am doing all right, I'll share my tricks.. I accept everything in my life to be exactly the way it is suposed to be. The only one I can change is me.. I carry a gratitude list, (a list of things I am truley grateful for) Family, kids, wife, etc.. I do not complain, I take responsibility for my life and my actions. I cherish the little things in life that make me or bring me happiness. I realize that they are all gifts that could be taken from me at any moment.. I go fishing, I listen to music, I love the Grateful Dead Music, it brings me much peace. I enjoy my wife and kids, both the good and the bad times. I never complain about their flaws.. If I were to, oh how I would miss thoes flaws if they were taken from me. I never wish a second of my life away.. I have a God in my life of my own understanding. I do not judge other people. I do not push my views or beleifs on others. I would rather understand someone elses opinions than argue or debate mine.. I listen to older people who have been there, done that..Well, that is just a few, but they help.. I also allow myself to make mistakes and hopfully learn from them. I also allow othersa to make mistakes. I cast no stones at sinners because I am a sinner also.. I hate george bush. I read books, okay, thats it for now..

My general MD and psychiatrist say I'm fine as long as I take my medication....I suffer from General Anixiety Disorder (GAD), with panic and anxiety attacks. I take 2 anti-depressants (one being librium), a statin to lower my cholesterol, a medication to help metabolize insulin and a medication for my acid stomach. My husband calls it "better living thru chemistry". I couldn't make it thru the day without it all.....yet there are days that I don't feel I'll make it thru even with the meds either. I think my brain works too much sometimes and wish it would just stop.......(I'm a classic Type A and I think it's genetic...my dad was a classic Type A and died before he was 45 from a heart attack).
