Why British Columbia is called beautiful BC?

Hi!

I have some questions pls answer me and u will make me a day.

Does anyone know why BC is called beautifull BC? Is BC really Beauty?
How can I download some pics from BBC(Beautifull British Columbia) and also Canada?

and I have also another question, I have heard that Canadians are too kind and also don't lock the doors of their homes!!!, is this true?

any comments is extremely appreciated.

B.C. is called that because it really is beautiful. The Rocky Mountains are awesome and breathtakingly beautiful. Because they are for the most part unpopulated you see wildlife like deers, moose, mountain goats, cougar and bears along the roadside when you are driving. ( and often in the towns as well) The ocean and coastline is amazing with both rugged unspoiled areas and beautiful pebble or white sand beaches and so is the Frazer River which runs right through the province. The douglas fur trees are some of the biggest in the world and it seems really surreal when you walk through the rain forests. Everywhere you go the scenery is incredible and the province is incredibly clean.
Canada is a very safe country and the people are very friendly. There's more crime in or closer to the bigger cities so I always lock my doors now because I live in a large apartment complex in the city, but when I lived in Northern Manitoba, Nova Scotia and on Vancouver Island outside of Victoria I never locked my doors and I never had anything stolen or my house broken into. Like anywhere else it depends where you live. Some places are rougher than others and you have to take more precautions. I think Canadians are more trusting because the crime rate is a lot lower than it is in other countries. For some really pretty pictures of British Columbia check out these websites.

It is called beautiful british columbia because it IS beautiful! Most tourists are blown away by the scenery. If you want some pics just use google images. Well not everyone is kind, but yeah I think in general Canadians are very friendly. Most people do lock their doors. But no, my door isn't locked ALL the time- and my windows are open all summer long. My house has never been broken into. We just don't have the same crime rate. You are much more likely to have your car stolen than have your house broken into.

I have lived in different parts of Canada but find BC to be the best. I was born on Vancouver Island and travelled throughout BC. but still have not seen it all. We have lush green forests, The rocky mountains, lakes, rivers and the Ocean. You can ski in the morning and fish in the afternoon. It is Beautiful British Columbia.

We haven't left our doors unlocked for several years now. Like every place else people have become more un-trusting.
You might try searching Travel BC. There are several web sites you can look at for pictures.

Beautiful BC just really does not explain just how magnificent it is here.
I have lived in the vancouver area most of my life and in BC for most of 30+ years.

it is the most scenic place on earth no matter where you go.
the mountains, the ocean, the rain forest up the coast, the desserts of kamloops, the absolute beauty of the fraser canyon, the vast country of the north.

There truely is no words to describe this province but once you have been here and seen for your self you will always come back.
check out your search engine for sites and photos but still looking at a picutre and seeing it your self is not the same. it is truely breath taking.

I do not know why British Columbia is called "Beautiful British Columbia". But it is classified as a Rain Forest. Yes, Canada is kind to terrorists. Canada is a drop off point before terrorists come into the U.S.. The U.S. must thank Canada for working as a terrorist base some day.
