She drowned her 5 kids and says "she wanted to save them from going to hell" I think its fucki*g disgusting and she should rot in jail. F our government. Seriously.

rot in jail nothing I think they should drown her too. Anyone that drowns five children and then has the sense to call the cops and say I just drown my children is not insane she is just demented. Her jail mate says she told her to just fake being crazy like her and she could get off because she was "crazy"

She was charged with murder and a jury of her peers found her not guilty by reason of insanity. Of course that is correct - no mother in her right mind could drown those beautiful children! She said Satan told her to do it. She is not sane. She will spend most of her life in a mental institution. Thank goodness we live in a country where there can be well-reasoned verdicts like the one she received. The knee-jerk reaction to kill her would have been wrong, in my opinion. [There are times when I believe capital punishment is correct, if you're wondering.]

I really think it is sick. This lady drowned her 5 young boys becuz of her stupid ''visions'' that one was going to be a homosexual prostitute..and one a murderer. that is so not even real life!!! Those kids were so happY! then to thik that they never had a future becuz of thier crazy moms ''visions'' is down right discusting! I hope that she gets life in prision. Crazy or not..she murderd 5 helpless boys. Think of it this way...you have five little boys....and you have a ''crazy'' aunt..they go stay with her for a weekend....she does that because of her stupid visions..what would you do? Those boys had family who loved them,....they needed that love. Yates is discusting as a person and as a mother.

well she will be spending alot of time now with doctors and on medication to balance her mood's.
HOPEFULLY she may one day be able to return to society and resume her place as a productive member of society.
Extracting a pound of flesh from someone who had no control over her actions would be wrong and given she will recieve the help needed to cope with life will one day prove benefical to the community.
I know most people want to see her fry , but this means anyone who is unbalanced in america can fry too.
DO we want to simply remove and kill those who do not follow the rules and at what point do the rules require you to lock up or segrigate people you feel do not fit in society.
SHE obviously was not acting rationally at the time she drowned 5 children .THEY were her own and it is just a form of post abortive action on her part , the fact GOD spoke to her leads me to believe that her indoctrination into a religious cult failed to provide her with the proper information regarding child care. i advocate the end to all religious teaching in america to our youth .
TO fill the impressionable minds of children with unsubstantiated information is going to result in more harm then good .

For one thing, we are finally getting away from the "kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out mentality." I think it is a good sign that we are gaining some balance in our Judaical system again.

that was sick, she should of been put to death.mental home for a long time, thats crap,mental home ,ok its no picnic in there, but she deserves alot worse than that, she should of been put into general population in prison, and let the inmates deal with her, she shouldnt of lived long enough to appeal her case
