I honestly feel - he is better off keeping a lower profile.
It does not make me feel good to see him shoulder to shoulder with players. One can not say it is wrong - but it did not give nay nice feeling about him - This is my personal feeling.

Kiran more cricketer or selector. As Cricketer he was a good wicket keeper and good player for the cricket team
. But as a selector he is not good. He has not been making good decisions droping wrong people and not giving correct explanation. When asked for a explanation he just says we know what we are doing. Then does he mean that all the other cricketers dont know what they do. I think there must be a clear plan and that is lacking in kiran more the selector.

He was a good keeper in his day. He was also an aggressive lower-order batsman as shown in an innings at the Gabba in 1992 where he appeared to be leading India to an against the odds victory before he got out.
As Chairman of Selectors he has shown that he is capable of making tough decisions.
