I'm in Lancashire too and they're all here in my garden!

I agree, i'm in Lancashire and there is hardly any. Plus i have only seen a few bees so far as well this year.
Maybe it is too hot for them!!!!!
Quite glad not may around i hate the yellow buzzing things!!!

The wet winter we had didn't agree with the Queens who were looking to build new nests, but just you wait, we'll soon get those that are left and no doubt, as usual, the bastards will sting you for no obvious reason. I was stung by one when I was a kid despite leaving it alone when told. I left it alone and it stung me. That was a pity for the wasp kingdom because ever since I've killed every one that's been brave enough to get close to me! There's no second chances with me buster!!!

Yeah, I've noticed that too, there's also a lack of moths, butterlies and bees. Maybe it's some crazy new pesticide, maybe pollution or just a change intemperatures that have affected them.

I hope they come back!

They're over here in the USA in Ohio. Want them back? I'll toss in free shipping. Care to have some rain with that? We have way too much of that this year as well.

Arrgh dont remind me I hate them , well not hate them as such just dont like the way they fly a inch away from ya face and follow you everywhere staying the same distance away . I hope its not time for them to make there annual appearence.

They are on my roof in London. Had pest control in last night to gt rid of them. Had to have all my windows closed and it was stifling with the heat.
