but only 32 national teams took played the FINAL tournament "world cup FIFA 2006 Germany" ,these teams were: 4 teams

Do You mean Clubs like local soccer clubs like DC united or nationlas teams like the English nat team . For the first , id say ther are at least 10k teams in no less than 155 countries all govern by FIFA .
