In N.Y when I was first born the cartoon was "Beanie and Cecil". "Felix the Cat" was the fisrt cartoon I remember but the most memorable was "Astro boy "when I was a little boy in Puerto Rico. Astro boy played Raggae music for its theme song.

Is anyone old enough to remember Babapapas? I am thought to be deluded about this programme and people say I have dreamt it or that I must have been on drugs or something. I distinctly remember it - it was on about the same time as Ludwig and Wil 'o' the Wisp.

As far as I can remember the first kids' show I watched was "The Friendly Giant" with Rusty the Rooster and Jerome(?) the giraffe, funny I don't remember the giants name!
The cartoons were Bugs Bunny and friends and occasionally....(if my older brothers ALLOWED me.... their baby sister.... to join them) Space Ghost
