added favorite game sites to a folder on desktop sometimes their in it and times there gone have to redo again

If you delete th website page from your favorite, it's shortcut will also be deleted...

Check out whether you have another folder called "Unused Desktop Shortcuts". Those sortcuts might be stored in them, but however i think before this being done, it will be asked and only if u click yes, then only the shortcuts will go to that folder. Just check it out.

A suggestion:
Right click on your screen. Choose Properties and after click the tab Desktop and the button Customize Desktop Deselect the option run desktop cleanup wizard every 60 days.
