Why British Columbia is called Beautiful British Columbia?

I have some questions pls answer me and u will make me a day.

Does anyone know why BC is called beautifull BC? Is BC really Beauty?
How can I download some pics from BBC(Beautifull British Columbia) and also Canada?

and I have also another question, I have heard that Canadians are too kind and also don't lock the doors of their homes!!!, is this true?

BC is known as Beautiful British Columbia because it has tons of beautiful trees, mountains and lakes! When you are driving in BC you are driving in the mountains through trees and wildlife! It's a really amazing experience for someone who isn't familiar with the area! I grew up in BC and I'm still amazed every-time I drive back because there is so much to look at and admire! As for leaving the doors unlocked it is fairly common in small towns all over Canada because most the people trust each-other and know each-other but I think most people in the Cities lock their doors because you don't know everyone like you do in a small town and a lot of the people aren't as trustworthy! Yes, BC is beautiful. There are communities in Canada where people tend to leave their doors unlocked, but I couldn't suggest doing that in the cities.

Vancover and the areas may be beautiful but the words have been coined by their own tourism department. No other reason.
