Get ready for The BEST ANSWER...Here is what you must do...There is, in the far lands of the Net, a sight called Dogpile.com, go there and put in the song name and Artist under the Audio web search page...the results should list available music files (MP3s!!)...to download straght from there to your desktop, simply right click and save as on the File title listed...without the usual mess. I am the originator of this method.

MP3's could nicely be downloaded for loose in p2p softwares or in any different case many are attainable on the cyber web in the event that they're for loose distribution. You Can't. I have looked Everywhere, there are many sites "Claiming" to be Free but they are NOT! Do Not BE SCAMMED! BUY IT OR IT IS NOT LEGAL, with the exception of a few artists who put out a site with a free download of a demo.

You can try e-mule. Not only mp3s but whole lotsa stuff for downloading. And it's absolutely free!

try to download a P2P (peer to peer) software. try dowloading BearShare. But beware of the viruses or worms you can download on a P2P software (most of the viruses are from application such as .exe, .zip, .rar, but for MP3's... it's safe)

Try the downloader: Morpheus, (at www.download.com), its free and you can download MP3s, videos etc

you aint gonna find a site unless you either have to pay or if it offers crappy music and videos
you can do it with (limewire, kazaa, iMesh, etc.) but beware of viruses
or do it with torrents (like BitComet) which i'd prefer
oh ... one last thing ... that's all is ILLEGAL incase you ever think of it :D
