Not sure. As long as people just paid attention to songs and enjoyed their music, probably not. As huge as N'Sync was, I don't think would have been that big a deal and overshadowed the success, as Lance said.
By the way...someone said Ricky Martin is gay. When did he say that? Just never even heard it as rumor.

Yes I think it would have affected their sales. What teeny bopper is going to buy a CD knowing the pop star is off limits to her. I have nothing against his lifestyle. I just think he made a wise decision to stay in the closet because it would have affected the monetary income of his group. He was looking out for them and put them before himself....very honorable.

i think it might have hurt the CD sales, i mean... so many guys are freaked out of gay guys so the group could've fallen apart. But it's good that he's finally come out.. he seems happier that way â¥

I think in the past it would have. People still have their biases but I would like to think we have come farther than our grand parents, etc. with our society being more accepting of everyone's differences.
