You'd better play with a tennis ball-it's small and very bouncy.
Or you can learn juggling an ordinary soccer ball with your head or feet to improve your ball touch.

Use a hackey sack...small, doesn't bounce. Golf balls are no good, as are 4-square balls. Baseballs are ok, but on the big side. Definately not a beach ball An american football is the wrong shape. A marble is second best to a hackey sack, but not so soft, so that is the problem with the marble. Not a billiard ball. Too hard, very bouncy. An egg would work, but it is not a ball. A ball bearing might work...but what would you do with it?

on the contrary, small but more bouncey balls would help better, a non- bouncing ball cant help you gather long passes. Tennis ball or even a table tennis ball ,after some time would help better.
