depends on how skinny or how fat, i weigh 8 and a half stone which is 55kg i think. and am 17 and 5 foot 3 so its the ideal weight for me.
being too skinny and being too fat is bad for you.

sorry but i don't want to look like Mary Kate or calista flockheart. i would rather be slender and healthy than look like a freaking skeleton. there is a difference between being healthy skinny and just plain disgusting looking.

Well, apart from living longer, moving more easily, finding clothes that fit, and avoiding diabetes, I don't really see any advantage.

It's good, but being too skinny can be bad.
If you can see your ribcage, you're too skinny.
Your body will not feel good when you are too skinny.
