I had this problem last week. I restarted it, did a system restore and even re-installed MSN messenger again to no avail. It was working fine the next day though. Seems to be a regional problem depending on where you are, as the person i was speaking to lives about 200 miles away and theirs was fine. Try again in a few hours time.

automatically detect settings then restart your pc then try to login on msn messenger
if that dont work msn messenger maybe having login problems so if you use winwods xp click on start all programs and in the programs list look for windows messenger you can set up your msn id on windows messenger and that is more better then msn messenger

Well..why dont u try this.. This will let uu know if its a problem frm MSN's end or if its a problem with yer msngr..
Go to this website and try loggin in.. http://e-messenger.net..
If this website works out, then its a problem with yer MSN.. Uninstall and re-install or get a new version downloaded.. If even this doesn't work, then its a problem with MSN..
But then Only MSN can help u..
Hope this helps ya to find out wot the real problem is..

I'm sorry to hear it! That's what happened to me, but I just left it and I can't get on. How about you make a knew MSN ID, with a different e-mail address and stuff, and tell people that one? We had to reboot as Tiscali Internet explorer didn't work so we used Mozilla and now we have mozilla firefox. It's brill!

If you can't sign in then your password or username is wrong or perhaps there is a virus preventing you from doing such things as signing on to your MSN.
