I am an American and have followed the events in the Middle East for the majority of my adult life. I have always felt great compassion for the people of Palestine. All one has to do is open their eyes and ears and they will see that the Palestinians are horribly victimized by the Jews and the biggest reason they are is that the Jews are supported with money and arms from the United States. The Palestinians go to the extremes they do because NO ONE will listen to their plight and I for one DO NOT blame them one bit for their actions..

Terrorism is the act of creating terror so obviously both sides of the conflict are terrorists.Your solution is way to simplistic for the problems that occur in the middle east. Some people feel the only way to resolve the problem is to eradicate Israel, while others feel the only solution is to rid the entire are of all Arabs. These two schools of thought are of course radical and not the view of the majority but these factions drive the conflict. Each time a little progress is made one side or the other attacks and causes turmoil. I really don't see any solution to this problem, and as long as the hate exits between the two sides this conflict will go on and on.

The reality is that the Jews aren't leaving Israel, and many Palestinians do not want to coexist. Hamas and Hezbollah, for example, have missions to wipe Israel off the Middle East map.

As the previous poster stated, Israel has given into international pressure to give the peace roadmap a chance. They pulled out of Lebanon and Gaza, but were still the victim of attacks and kidnappings - the latest round by both terrorist groups started this whole mess to begin with.

Israel pulled out of the occupied terratories in Lebanon, so the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers could not have been resistance to occupation. They had their land back and still attacked. Unless you believe as the Arabs do, that Israel's very existance and the continuation of Jewish life is an "occupation".

Yes end war have peace peace is based on truth and love and unity and people working together and i know this is idealistic but isnt that what every one wants in their personal lives no one wants dis - ease its dis-ease that causes disease hate also causes disease because we all want peace in our own lives we should want it for every one. there are no winners in war only losers, losers of life and who has the right to take another life no one.
