If that is what the US of A needs to do, and if that is what they are doing, then they should declare it to the world, instead of pretending to be doing it for the good of the people they are invading. Then a world war would be fought, with the US of A on one side, and most of the rest of the world on the other.

It would make what Germany and Japan did during the "world wars" as what they are, almost nothing, as this indeed would occupy the whole of the world, and probably bring about it's complete ruin.

Far too many US of An's are seen as feeling that US law should apply through out the world, except when it applies to the rights of people in those other countries, where it should only apply for US of An's and not to the 'natives' of those countries.

This is not a way of bringing about world peace. World Law's, Laws agreed by the US of A, should not be ignored by the US of A, especially in other countries.

The Iraq warfare made oil expenses circulate up which rather reward Russia by using increasing their earnings from oil export. An Iran warfare will advance their earnings even greater advantageous. and that's without single Russian soldier killed or greenback spent. Why might the Russians be against an US-Iran warfare. i've got faith they are going to wholeheartedly help it. actually someplace in between BBC - CNN and the Russian media.

War is always bad. Innocent people are being killed, hunderds tortured, destruction, blood and suffering.

If USA needs oil, USA should find a peaceful way of getting it, through a fair trade agreement or something - to give SOMETHING in exchange.

No human being has the universal right to take from another by applying aggression.

FIRST OF ALL MURDER IS SAD WHETHER YOU CALL IT MURDER OR YOU CALL IT WAR. And if you call it war then you are PROBABLY unable to grasp the concept of what might *JUSTIFY* murder. We do not go to war (commit murder) because it would make our lives easier and our politicians wealthier or our economy stronger. We go to war (commit murder) because our very lives OR existence has been directly threatened and War is the only means of *ENSURNG* self-preservation.

Or

because our existence is indirectly threatened and no plausible means or technology is available yet to avert or contain a situation which might result in our very lives *OR* existence becoming threatened.

*AND EVEN THEN*

it is only appropriate to remain in war until such plausible means or technology has been developed or acquired; *OR* until the threat or its source has been removed or contained.

Secondly -- the U.S. doesn't need oil to survive at this time. However, until recently, oil was a relatively inexpensive and readily available means of fueling the transportation industry --which in turn keeps our economy strong. However, new uses for common products are discovered everyday. Should we discover a use for oil that would revolutionize the human existence down the road (and this is very likely), it is *SAD* to think that we would not be able to benefit from this finding because the supply has been deleted. And it is *SCARY* to think our very survival might depend on it. It took about 3 billion years and circumstances that cannot be duplicated to produce these oil deposits. They are important if for no other reason than for our inability to replicate this process. However, close analysis reveals that oil is a means of storing energy. The energy latently stored in oil once roamed the earh as dinasours. Now it is conveniently packaged in a stable petroleum based substance. What if we could unlock the secret to storing the life energy of humans into such a substance that can be manipulated through available means to recreate human life.

Consider this:

An "evolutionary phenomena" of lithification and decay was albe to capture and transport the suns energy in a substrate called oil;

Another human phenomena, the "Krebs cycle", is able to transport and extract this latently stored energy from a substrate called blood;

This complimentary equal yet oppisite relationship suggest that perhaps something small has been overlooked. It seems to me that oil and blood are old buddies, and I bet that blood hides oil's secrets just as well as oil is hiding blood's.
Lets go ask the *MITOCHONDRIA* they have much to say.

--REMEMBER--

(1) Energy cannot be created or destroyed only transferrred from one form to another;
(2) All energy on earth originally comes from the sun as photons.
(3) Oil is hiding the method of preserving this energy and transforming it into a latent - potable form.
(4) Should something happen to our sun we have this emergency supply of energy for the preservaion of the human race.

Well basically it is call theft. It is no different then a gang banger shooting up the local 7-11 so he can get money for his habit. We have alternative fuels, we juts refuse to develop them. That lack of vision, and the stupidly simplistic approach which you state here, is going to be our downfall. We need to get off the Arab teat in order to grow. How much of our money is going to funnel terrorism through the sales of oil? That is the question you need to be asking. Without the oil money they have NOTHING.

I have yet to see a war for oil.
We've been to Afganistan and Iraq, yet the gas prices are through the roof!
Please show me this war for oil everyone is talking about!
