4 or 5 days of sex is not excessive. even sex everyday or twice a day is not excessive. Sex is a human urge which like appetite for food varies from person to person. But however thought of sex or indulgence in it, if it is occupying all your time and interfering with your life and causing you problems in your normal life then ofcourse its something to take note of. Why do we get obsessed or pre occupied with sex or anything else for that matter? Any desire that gives us pleasure tends to remain in our memory and the mind wants a repeat, wants more pleasure. Its all in the mind. Its the memory, the mind that plays up and makes us desire more and more. If we are alert and we can understand our mind and be aware of our thoughts and how its pushing and manipulating, i think the mind will calm down. Maybe once it becomes quieter your desires will not play up so often. And this constant knocking of your mind may stop.
