one theory goes that the evaporation of a large quantity of water during the formation of the atmosphere left behind a superconcentrated cocktail of primordial soup.

as one method of bonding is evaporation of solvent, molecules in the soup bonded together to form proteins, and eventually through a long process of evporation and combination, prebionts, or precursors to true living single celled organisms were formed.
