You will love this one, I am originally from Belgium and we have hundreds of them going back hundreds of years in our folklore. I always use them and translate them. The people look at me and wonder if I am off my rocker. If someone does not know what they are talking about I say:You are talking like someone who has no skin over their belly.
It does not translate well , now does it? It goes back to a time when due to lack of vitamins in their food , newborn babies had problems with the skin on the belly. How they came up with this combination I don't know. My mother and grandparents used it all the time.
