why are some black people racist?

black people should know better than any race the bad effects that racism has on people! im asking this because i just read i question that a black guy asked "why are wet-back mexican people so gross?"
what nerve that guy has! deos he not know that black people were slaves and victims of racism? why is he spreading racism? do u agree that he is an uncle tom asshole?

i dont really see how some of u can be offended! i didnt say all black people! if u arents racist then dont be offended!

How do you know for a fact that he is black? There are a lot of posers on this site. I understand what you are saying thou, it is the same reason why I don't understand why jewish people are racist. I think people just like jumping on the band wagon. It is like Carlos Mancia says on his show, your it. Everyone has had racist things said or done to them in the past, the Italian-were called goons, the Irish-was called racist names and so on, they have all craved a place out for themselves in the US and now they are all picking on the next guy. It is like the new kid in junior high. It is childish and sad, but unfortunately true. By the way don't take things so seriously, who really take this site serious anyway, we are a bunch of people with nothing better to do. Think about it, half these questions are nonsense and the other half people already know the answer, can loOK it up or should ask their parents. It's ok, take it easy, it is not that serious.

Well, I suppose SOME American blacks are racists because they live in a racist country. Besides, if being American took so much pain to them, then I can understand how resentful they might feel.
I do not agree that a skin color determines the intelligence of anybody, but the environment, chance to get equal health care, equal chances to study and get out of the poverty yes.

If blacks are taking it against Mexicans, it might be because it is not that easy to fight the dominant whites in power. In simple words, just think in the common situation of a low ranked employee that listens to his boss mistreating him daily, and then he goes back home and kicks his dog.
Sure the poor animal has nothing to do, but cannot complain since has no voice.

It is just an idea, after all victims that end up full of hate is not an exception in humanity.
Think about the blind hate that now and always leaded people to kill or humiliate each other, for instance raping the women or kids.

Somewhere I understand the black population of the US, better named as regular Americans without more labels. They've got the worst part always.

i sometimes wonder about that how come they walk around life with an attitude and a chip on their shoulder as if the world and America owe them for what their ancestors suffered prior to civil war. Majority have identity crisis. they can not make up their minds to what they want to be labelled appropriately. Blacks was fine;now African Americans is a mouthful. Besides they were not born in Africa. Anybody born in the States are Americans only with diff ethnicity or heritage or ancestry. Mexican
people are more modest and humble but some are arrogant. and quite derogatory to the whiteys. If you don't like it here crawl back under the rock from where you came from. This country is great built by immigrants from all over the world. . Ignorance shouldn't harbor resentment and cynicism and prejudices. Every race is beautiful; after all we all are the children of God.

I would say he was anything. I think in certain situation you have to look past the race and think. Maybe this guy has gone through something with Mexicans. It is a bad thing to do as far as generalising, but it happens. I don't think that anyone should be racist because every race including whites have gone through something in history, it may not be something that is spoken about but it is has happen. For example: I know this guy (black guy) he was hit by a car by a mexican, he was hit in the eye with a metal baseball bat by a mexican, and then his best friend was shoved off the road and killed in a car accident by a mexican. So now he doesn't care for too many mexican's. It is pure situational and not a racist issue. Look on both sides of that question and see that is just may not be about race. :)

This is the normal and natural reaction to the racism of white people's society earlier.....its not that i'm giving an excuse for them to be racists,though...........but if you noticed you'll see that the racist black people are only the illiterate and uneducated ones that lived harsh lifestyles in the ghettos and projects...their racism is actually for the people who are rich and are born with a silver spoon.......these rich people are happen to be the white in most cases........
The only way to solve this problem is to give these poor black people a better life and make them rise from the street,gutter level by primarly educating them.

And i'm not offended by your question at all....i believe that some black people are racists as some white,hispanic,arabs and middle-eastern people are....you can't find a race without racists......

I live in western europe and we have a lot of arab and turkish people living here (their parents came here to work because we had shortage of mine workers and for some other industries).

Just like you i am very surprised that these people, who were victim of racism for decades, are offen the most racist and conservative people around (hating gay people for example).

I realise that there isn't a perfect similarity between the situation we have in Europe and you have in the US, but still.

Probably their environment is the cause of that kind of absurd behavior, or at least part of the cause.

l think you're an angry fellow.Racism is outdated. The minute you discriminate or link bad things to the colour of a persons skin you have practised racism. Your question is racist. People who are still living in the past (from all races) still practise racism. You have to have power and/ or prestige to truly be racist. Now his comments (post you are referencing) if it truly says what you say it says (lol) were insensitive, ignorant and prejudiced, but not racist...and no, that doesn't make him an "Uncle-Tom azzhole"...just someone with poor social skills who perhaps may not know the depth the effects of slavery has had/ have on the psyche of people of color...
