There to try and help people enjoy their night out. If you're nice and show respect to the venue, it's staff and other customers then you have nothing to worry about.
On the other hand, some people have a lack of intelligence and try to impress friends or girls by arguing/fighting with door staff - getting a 'bit lippy' is not enough reason for a good kicking, but if you push the right buttons (like Materazzi did with Zidane) everyone has a limit to the crap they'll take. (by the way, most things that people think are insults have been heard many times before, so try to be original - it is a real job, many are educated and most get paid more than minimum wage).

Bouncer's are all guy's who got bullied in school. Decided to pump some weights and take steroids.
Thus..... Their penises are really small and they take this out on guy's who go to the club/pub and take the girls they been trying to get. But she's knocked the bouncer back a couple of weeks before cause she had a feel and found he had a little tadpole!
In the end wither your lippy or not you'll still get a kickin.

Yes there are bouncers in clubs and pubs, and they are there to protect the patrons as well as kick the patrons who get a bit lippy.

They are there to make sure you don't step out of line and endanger the liquor license.
I don't think you have to be lippy to get a kicking of a bouncer; you just have to look a bit wimpy.

As I know that bouncers are not suppose to touch you and they do have more job like making the balance within the pub. I mean how many boys or girls.

They are there to protect us and to keep the arshole out and if you do get a bit lippy then you only have your self to blame.

We are now classed as doormen and have to be licensed to do our work, I think 70% of us are there to do a job and get paid for it, sure there are some there who abuse it but isnt that the case in every job. I would prefer to see every one having a good time and help them to do just that,

They're there to enforce the exclusive contracts the drug dealers have struck with management. The kickings they hand out are perks.

they think they are the whiskers but in in all fairness look over weight and look like they are on drugs!
Try and pull all the fit gals they piss me off because they ask me for id I'm 23 one bouncer said he only did it to find out my name what a w ank er!

They are there for both of those reasons.. they will protect you from the guy kicking the crap out of you.. and kick his butt out.. literally
