what do people abroad feel and think about a girl wearing a scarf for religious values...are this kindda girls accepted in all society and are they respected and treated the same?

i dont know why people cant take the fact of wearing scarf as just another dress code. People wear all kinds of things these days. But why does head scarf always be the center of attraction? what does people have against wearing head scarf so much? There are people who wears all kinds of hats and hoodies and gothic ornaments and clothings, different types of piercings and tattoos and various other wierd kinda clothes. But the only thing that becomes an issue is a head scarf. and to know that it has been a common part of clothing worn for many centuries and millenia. I dont see ppl complaining about nuns and their head scarf. i think the different respect and outlook given towards those with head scarf are pure racism.

I can't really speak for anyone else but the only time I really notice a head scarf is if it's a nice pattern. I am sure there are people against it and that probably has more to do with their own fears about the unknown that it represents. If people are aloud to wear a cross necklace then I see no need for restrictons on anything else.

I live in NYC, generally people live and let live. Yet in smaller communities, and even on some college campuses, there have been problems.
Westerners often think that their way of living is the best and ONLY way to live and don't have the patience with others who might be different.

whatever people feel abroad, i advise you to do what is best. dont loose your values and cultures for the sake of others but be proud of it
