We are just human LOL.
Think about playing with a cat - you pull the toy further away and the cat chases it.
We like the challenge of going after something - the hunt, the chase.
The next question is why doesn't man get satisfied if he does capture something...

Coz men are born achievers and atleast they try for something. They simply dont lay down the arms presuming that the particular thing cannot be achieved.

Because the only way of living is trying to get to something, even if it is impossible. It's called having goals, and with out having them you'll just die because you don't have a reason to live.

What is the thing that he can't have?
If there is a can't, there will be a can't.
How do you define "have".? Physically?
I can't hold a moon high up in the sky,
but she is always in my mind,
up above me every night.
